Stiebel Eltron recently introduced the integral cylinder ‘HSBC 300 cool’, as an addition to its heat pumps. It combines a 270-litre domestic hot water tank and a 100-litre buffer cylinder in one housing.
The slim design allows installation in the smallest of spaces. Installation has been simplified by the ability to separate it into two modules for fitting. Due to the high level of pre-assembly ex works, after installation only the hydraulic pipes for drinking water, heat pump and heating circuit need to be connected – reducing the installation time. Thanks to its effective thermal insulation, the integral cylinder offers high efficiency and it can also be used for cooling buildings with its fan motors. With its large domestic hot water cylinder, the integral cylinder offers a high level of DHW comfort – in a minimum of space. Depending on the system configuration and heat pump, either the standard version of the integral cylinder with cylinder primary pump or the “light” version without a primary pump is used.
